The Message

Yesterday I only lasted about a mile before I hung it up. That ligament(s) was really bugging me. I stuck to a level road nearby and did some short laps to try and stretch it but it wasn’t feeling too well so I quit while I was behind.

Today however, I did 3.65 miles in about 45 minutes and it felt pretty good.  Going slower has really allowed me to concentrate on form which I surely need help with.  I am susceptible to some pretty decent blisters mainly from not picking my feet up properly. I also ran in some shallow sand which really revealed how much I “swish” instead of lift. Instant coaching.  I’m not sure I would have gotten such a clear message if I was wasn’t barefoot.
